FAQs

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

What is included in your safari packages?

Our safari packages typically include park entrance fees, full-board accommodation, a professional English-speaking guide, a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, bottled water during game drives, and airport transfers. Some packages also include internal flights and cultural activities.

Yes! At Lujoma Expeditions, we specialize in tailor-made safaris. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or in a group — we’ll design a safari based on your preferences, time, and budget.

Tanzania is a year-round destination. However, the dry season (June to October) is best for wildlife viewing, especially the Great Migration in the Serengeti. The green season (November to May) offers lush landscapes, fewer tourists, and amazing birdlife.

Absolutely. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our guides are trained, our vehicles are well-maintained, and we follow all necessary safety protocols, including park regulations and local health guidelines.

Pack light and neutral-colored clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, binoculars, and comfortable walking shoes. We’ll send you a detailed packing list based on your specific itinerary.

Yes, we’re happy to arrange airport pickups and overnight stays in Arusha or Zanzibar before or after your safari. Just let us know your flight details and we’ll handle the rest.

Do I need a visa to enter Tanzania?

Most travelers need a tourist visa to enter Tanzania. You can apply online through Tanzania’s eVisa portal or get it on arrival. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.

We use 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for maximum wildlife viewing and comfort. Each vehicle is equipped with charging ports, a fridge or cooler box, and plenty of space for each guest.

We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and mobile money (for local clients). A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before the start of your tour.

For scheduled group safaris, we limit the number to 6 guests per vehicle so everyone has a window seat. For private safaris, the vehicle is exclusively yours and can be arranged for couples, families, or small groups.

Yes! We welcome families with children and can tailor safaris to be kid-friendly, including shorter drives, family-style lodges, and cultural activities. Some parks have minimum age limits, so we’ll guide you accordingly.
